Lo studio ha esaminato il design cromatico dei giocattoli didattici destinati ai bambini di età compresa tra 1 e 3 anni. Lo scopo della ricerca è valutare le preferenze cromatiche dei consumatori adulti e la loro consapevolezza delle funzioni e dell’influenza del colore. L’obiettivo pratico dello studio è contribuire a un uso più consapevole del colore nella progettazione e nella produzione dei giocattoli e, di conseguenza, ridurre le distrazioni cromatiche nell’ambiente dei bambini. Sebbene i risultati suggeriscano che i partecipanti siano consapevoli dell’importanza del colore, lo studio ha rilevato che la maggior parte degli intervistati non considera la funzione educativa del colore. È stata riscontrata una relazione tra le risposte dei partecipanti e il loro ruolo familiare. Inoltre, i dati hanno rivelato che il colore di un giocattolo, così come la confezione, influenza la decisione di acquisto dei partecipanti.
