This is a very different angling book. It does not try to teach angling, rather it suspects that any reader will already be a competent fisherman. There is however, room for the 'Compleat Tangler' too. It is unusual, quirky, and somewhat unconventional. (Other descriptions, dragged screaming from the Thesaurus, may be subject to fact checking.) If this book has any purpose at all, it is to encourage the reader to think about his own fishing, and certainly to enjoy it. A day by the river should not be 'Just About the Fish', and so the book has wildlife, fish, tales and observations about life in general flitting through its pages rather as a dragonfly might pass in front of a daydreaming angler. The text is guaranteed to be free of Artificial Intelligence, and no Biros were damaged or chewed whilst it was being written. JayZS first cast a line over sixty years ago, and still fishes successfully today, for a variety of species.
