'Estudio sobre el testimonio, género y memoria que busca aportar a la comprensión de las dinámicas que el conflicto armado interno generó en el Perú y contribuye al análisis del testimonio y la memoria desde una perspectiva de género, explicando las representaciones sobre las mujeres andinas, rurales e indígenas antes, durante y después del conflicto armado internoperuano.Los artículos que componen este libro analizan la aparición de voces de mujeres indígenas en el canon discursivo de la literatura y de las ciencias sociales; estudian los testimonios orales de mujeres quechuas en las audiencias públicas de la CVR; investigan los discursos que han homogeneizado y estereotipado a las presidentas de ANFASEP. Además, revisan las representaciones de género en las imágenes y la propaganda del PCP-SL y se aborda laparticipación de las mujeres en el movimiento femenino popular y en la lucha armada.'
