It’s important to recognize that no critical perspective is infallible, much like scientific or philosophical theories that remain open to revision. Furthermore, a critic must possess the ability to distinguish between merit and flaw objectively and to articulate these insights with balance, highlighting both the strengths and weaknesses of a work. Curated evaluations and analyses of several themes are available in the book 'Fikr-o-Nazr : kuch naye zaaviye - Part:2 (Thoughts and Insights, Essays)' and which is edited by Syed Hyderabadi./آزادئ فکر کا تصور ادیب اور تنقید دونوں کے لیے بہت ضروری ہے، لیکن اس فرق کے ساتھ کہ نقاد کو جہاں یہ آزادی ہے کہ وہ کسی مخصوص نقطۂ نظر کی روشنی میں فن پارے کو پرکھے، وہاں اس سے ہمارا یہ مطالبہ بھی ہے کہ اس کا نقطۂ نظر کسی ادبی معیار کے زیر اثر تعمیر کیا گیا ہو اور اس میں کوئی ایسے منطقی تضادات نہ ہوں جو ان معیاروں یا اس نقطۂ نظر کی وقعت کو مجروح کریں جس کی رو سے نقاد اپنے فیصلے کر رہا ہے۔ یہ نکتہ قابل لحاظ ہے کہ کوئی بھی تنقیدی نقطۂ نظر سو فیصدی صحیح نہیں ہو سکتا۔ جس طرح کوئی بھی سائنسی یا فلسفیانہ نظریہ سو فیصدی صحیح نہیں ہو سکتا۔ قاری کو قائل کرنے کی خاطر ایک مبصر کو مکمل تحقیق، بصیرت مند تجزیہ نگاری، اور واضح تحریر میں مہارت حاصل ہونی چاہیے، چاہے جائزے کی نوعیت اور انداز کچھ بھی ہو۔ مزید برآں، یہ ضروری ہے کہ مبصر اچھے اور خراب کام میں تمیز کرنے کی متوازن صلاحیت رکھتا ہو اور یہ جانتا ہو کہ کسی کتاب یا مضمون کے فوائد اور نقصانات کو واضح طور پر کیسے بیان کیا جائے۔
