El antifaz del sudario es una novela de género misterioso, fantástico y sobrenatural, inspirada en las diferentes polémicas que se generaron a raíz de los estudios realizados al Sagrado Manto de Turín en la década de los ochenta.El protagonista de esta novela, Elías Baltazar, es un periodista terco y rebelde que se obsesiona con los escándalos de pedofilia acontecidos dentro de la iglesia católica, hecho que lo lleva a instigar de manera ilegal a los religiosos implicados. Como consecuencia a sus actos, es arrestado de manera arbitraria, pero, extrañamente, liberado antes de cumplir su condena en Roma.Desconociendo quién pago su fianza o quién colaboró en su liberación, se obsesiona de nuevo con descubrir la verdad sobre todo lo sucedido desde su investigación, encarcelamiento y rescate. Este camino lo lleva a experimentar una serie de situaciones sobrenaturales y peligrosas junto a los extraños personajes que se incorporan en su momento dentro de la narrativa detallada y de suspenso.A medida que avanza en su nueva y arriesgada investigación, se percata de que los hechos toman un giro inesperado e inicia un camino sobre un campo totalmente diferente al que él creyó originalmente. Los crudos casos de pedofilia lo llevan, junto a los que él cree que son sus amigos de confianza, hacia un ambiente meramente sobrenatural, religioso e increíblemente fantástico.Desconfiará hasta de él mismo en cada paso avanzado, pero deberá decidir, en medio de una trama tensa, oscura y extraordinaria, con quién trabajar, pues fuerzas misteriosas pueden estar moviendo hilos detrás de bambalinas.
