He is currently the Managing Director of the Santa Maria Foundation and of the Editorial Group SM. Among other responsibilities he has been President of the Association of Publishers of Madrid and the Federation of Associations of Publishers of Spain. Is the author of the books: 'Miryam de Nazareth'; 'Historia de la Iglesia', 'Los Cristianos' and other text books of Religion. The author says: 'The paint of Pedro Berruguete, entitled 'Santo Domingo presides over a auto of faith' and that is in the Prado Museum in Madrid, always struck my attention. It was, every time I saw him, as if I feel an old pain. The Inquisition reminds us a black page in our history. And we can not bury our heads in the sand. It was terrible. Without palliatives. And many times we have asked forgiveness for that great error to force the consciences and seeking to impose the truth. But I thought I needed something more to ask for forgiveness. So I write about the historical truth. I wanted to face the harsh truth. And the painting was an excellent opportunity. In addition to being a work of art, this paint was a piece of history, that revealed the tragedy of the Inquisition. And before him, I think. And in this book is what I was able to say.

  • Through the years with prince charming
    Paul du Quenoy
The past decade has overflowed in a raging stream of contradictions. As Paul du Quenoy’s globetrotting criticism reveals, the arts were in a ferment that matched profound and yet totally unpredicted social...
