El pensamiento busca una esencia que es al fin y al cabo la suya propia, pero en esa búsqueda y su sentido inmanente da lugar a un segundo, tercer y enésimo pensar de nueva cuenta que es de naturaleza completamente distinta, externo al primero tanto en sus medios como en sus fines: no sólo ha originado una manera nueva y diversa de nombrar esa tan ansiada esencia, sino que realmente se ha vuelto de suyo extrínseco a ella en su propio radio y contexto de pensar.Pues bien, la filosofía simpatética no es más ni menos que el intento de explicar y organizar la búsqueda de la esencia del pensamiento por el pensamiento mismo de acuerdo a su propia manera interna de buscarla siempre y cada vez, en definitiva, como algo extrínseco al pensar ocasional y presente de turno: en suma, de regreso a la inmanencia que es la raíz de todas las trascendencias infinitamente posibles.
