La situación es de tal magnitud que es inminente la necesidad de cambios cualitativos al interior del sistema capitalista.Sin embargo, mientras persista el actual orden económico internacional y el desarrollo se sustente en la competencia desenfrenada por la maximización de las ganancias, sin tener en cuenta el interés humano y la necesidad de preservar y reproducir las condiciones adecuadas para el futuro de la sociedad, el progreso material carecerá de todo sentido.
